From now on, I'm going to try list what supplies I use and what colors if it's something specific (if I can remember) for those interested, as I've had a couple of inquiries. If I can figure out an easy way to do so, I might add some links too so that I can credit the fine makers of the products that I use. I've been extremely happy with the quality of tools so far.
Now on to the cards....
Card 1) Happy Birth, Kole
The first one here is a Welcome to the World card for the birth of my second grandson, Kole. I had this card made and ready to go before my oldest daughter Emily's due date so that it was all set to go out as soon as I found out Kole was born. I made a background using various colors of distress ink and a blending tool. The patterns on the cardstock grassy area are stamped and I used Copics for all the other coloring. This little dragon on the front is raised up with foam tape for dimension.
Here's the interior. I used Intense Black ink for the sentiment. Copics were used to color the dragon and I used a colorless blender, dotting the dragons to simulate scales. I love the way the colorless blender can be used to erase color, move color around, lighten color, and to create a textured look.

Card 2) Happy Birthday, Kaidan
This next card was for my first grandson's (Kaidan) 4th birthday. His birthday is just 10 days after when Kole was born (although 4 years later). This was my first attempt to make a shaker card and I think it turned out rather well. Each window is separated and raised off of the card front by some foam tape with a sheet of acetate over the entire thing (under the rainbow striped paper). So each section had it's own sequins and could be shaken up so that the sequins were in confined areas. The little monsters were placed tucked into and over the striped paper. I used some texture paste (which you can't see) just to smooth out the foam around the edge of the card so it looked more uniform. I also made a hand-written 'shake me' sign in the top, right corner so that Kaidan knew what to do with the card.
Here's the interior. I added a circle of vellum and a gray, star burst pattern just behind the green monster to separate it a bit and pull it away from the candles because without it, that area just looked too busy to me. I also rounded the corners of the card with a corner punch so there would be no hard and pointy edges since this card is really thick. I used purple and green sequins to coordinate with the two monsters on the inside.

Card 3) Happy Birthday, Bronwyn
Next card up is one I made for my daughter Bronwyn's 14th birthday. She loves foxes so I had to make her a fox card. I wanted to keep the outside fairly simple since the inside was going to be a bit busy. The fox sentiment is stamped with Intense Black ink and the 'another birthday' sentiment at the bottom is heat embossed to make it stand out against the black background. I used Copics to color in the fox and topped it with Spectrum Noir clear to make it sparkle.
The inside of this card is interactive. The gray balloons below are actually stratch-off stickers that are covering some stamped words such as, "Way to Go" and "I Love You". The large gold balloon is raised off of the inside panel with foam tape to give dimension. I used Spectrum Noir gold to make the large balloon really shiny and bright. I used a few shades of purple ink to give the 'happy birthday' sentiment an ombre look. White pigment ink was used for the balloon highlights.

Card 4) Happy Anniversary
This next card was for my husband for our 18th (yes, 18th!) wedding anniversary. Our anniversary happens to be the day after Bronwyn's birthday so I had to have both cards ready.
In any case, I have a thing for hedgehogs so I just had to make him a hedgehog card. Besides, they just look so freakin' happy! Especially this little guy on the front just jumping for joy. He's raised up with some foam tape to give him a little lift. I used distress ink (in Peacock Feathers, I think) and a blending tool for the front background. The sentiment is stamped in Intense Black in and I used Copics to color the features that I cut out using dies.
I made the inside of the card into a small shaker because I just couldn't resist. I filled the shaker 'box' with various shades of blue sequins and cut out card stock xs and os. While the sentiments on the upper part of the inside are stamped in Intense Black and Peacock Feathers, the sentiment on the bottom is heat embossed. All the features here are cut out using dies also.

Card 5) Happy Halloween by Teagan
My youngest daughter wanted to make a card alongside me while I made some Halloween cards. I think she did a fantastic job! She gave this to her friends that live across the street from us and they loved it. Teagan had full creative control over what she wanted to do with her card and what supplies she wanted to use. She used some dark blue cardstock for the background to simulate a night sky. All the features on the front were die cut with colored card stock. In addition, the ghosts were also covered with clear Spectrum Noir for a shimmer and the tree has some Copic coloring. The 'stars' and the eyes of the little ghosts and cat are Stickles which is basically a really good glitter glue that dries fairly quickly.
For the inside of Teagan's card, she used a combination of distress inks and blended them with a blending tool, and then splattered with water. I helped Teagan splatter some watered down, black ink onto the background to give it some interest. I helped her with that because it can get really messy, really fast. The bat was die cut from black card stock, while the grave stone and pumpkin are die cuts that were colored with Copic markers. The grave stone was also stamped with a 'Death by Chocolate' stamp. The 'Happy Halloween' sentiment is stamped with a glow-in-the-dark embossing powder and heat set. It didn't show up very well on its own so the sentiment was also outlined in orange. The little dots are Nuvo Crystal drops in glossy Ripened Pumpkin and Ebony Black that when dried, turn into little enamel decorations.

Teagan decided to come up with her own mark by signing her name and using an oak leaf stamp dipped in gold.

Cards 6, 7, and 8: Costumed Pets with Spiders and Bandages
All three of these cards were actually really fun to make. It's pretty simple but looks really cool with the different papers, and only a couple of dies. The fronts of all the cards are pretty much the same. The doggie in bandages was colored with Copic markers. 'Happy' is stamped in Intense Black on a scrap of paper. The 'Halloween' is a die in gray card stock that's been layered several times to make it stick up a bit from the front. The bandages on the front are actually Micropore tape. And the spiders are a piece of Halloween-themed washi tape.
On the inside, I kept it simple on a white background, the masked cat characters are die cut and colored with Copics and all colored differently for each card. The sentiment is stamped in Intense Black. The are a couple of little spiders stamped, one at the bottom and one toward the top. I drew in a squiggly lines in black to act as the silk the spiders are hanging from.

Cards 9, 10, and 11: Frightful Cards
Here's another trio of Halloween cards that were really fun to make. I actually started on these cards well before I needed to send them out. I did the backgrounds and colored the die cut characters and other elements with watercolor. This was my first time experimenting with it so it was an adventure. I covered the entire watercolor paper front panels for all the cards in a layer of water. Then I dropped distress inks onto the water and spread the color around with a brush. Since I had to use a lot of water, these had to be taped down so they wouldn't warp and let to dry for a couple of days. After it was thoroughly dry, I added black splatter for more interest. All the other elements used regular watercolor paints. The sentiments on the black cut outs are stamped with VersaMark watermark ink - which is a translucent and very sticky ink great for using with embossing powder. Then I added glow-in-the-dark embossing powder and set it with heat. The fence is stamped with Intense Black. I placed the watercolor paper panel on some Halloween-themed cardstock before placing it all onto a black white cardstock card base. I used the Nuvo Crystal drops to make enameled decoration to add to the front.
For the inside of the cards I used a spider web stencil with gray distress ink. The spiders and 'boo' are dies cut out of card stock. The word 'boo' along with the exclamation mark is layered several times to make it thicker. I drew the silk thread with a black pen to have the spider hanging from the top of the card. The spider's eyes are red Nuvo Crystal drops. This was the heaviest and bulkiest of all the cards I've done so far but still managed to squeeze them into A2 size card envelopes.
